What are the Library's hours?
Monday - Thursday
9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday - Saturday:

Does the Library have computers?
Yes! We have 24 computers that have internet access. Plus we have six computers for children that have a variety of programs.
Does the Library have meeting rooms?
We have several meeting rooms of various sizes that can be used for community groups.
The following Library rooms may be reserved:
Smith Meeting Room capacity: 96
Franks Board Room capacity: 14
Study Room No. 1 capacity: 6
Study Room No. 2 capacity: 8

Who may have a Library card?
If you live, work, attend school, or own property in Carter County, you can have a free library card. Anyone else may have a card for a fee of $15 per year.
How many items may be checked out at one time?
Generally, the answer is 28 items per library card. Within that, there are limits on particular material types, including: 7 DVDs, 7 music CDs, and 4 video games. There are other limitations on certain types of patron cards; ask at the front desk if you need more information on those.
How do I renew my Library card?
Please visit the front desk or give us a call at 580-223-8290.
What is my Library PIN?
Your PIN for Libby, Hoopla, Kanopy, and our public computers is the last four digits of the phone number that is attached to your library card.
Are printing/scanning/faxing services offered at the Library?
Yes!
Printing is $0.10/page for black and white copies, and $0.50/page for colored copies.
Faxing is $0.50 for the entire fax.
Scanning is free.
Does the Library have a notary?
Yes. It is $5 to notarize a document and you will need to bring your photo ID. Please give us a call at 580-223-8290 to check the notary's availability.
What forms of payment does the Library accept?
We only accept cash.
Does the Library accept donations of books/DVDs/CDs?
Yes. If donated items are not added to our collection, they will be added to the book sale where proceeds benefit the library.
Does the Library accept donations of dolls for the Eliza Cruce Hall Doll Museum?
We do not accept donations of dolls.
