Expanded area for kid’s DVDs!
We have just moved our children’s DVDs to an area with double the space and have added about 100 new kid’s movies and TV series. This area will continue to grow now that we have this new space. Check it out!
If you are looking for something you don’t see, ask us. If it’s checked out, we can reserve for you when it returns, and if we don’t own it, we can look into adding it to the collection.

Library closed but still serving you
Monday, November 6th through Thursday, November 9th, the library will be closed to the public while our HVAC units are replaced. The staff will be here and will be able to provide some services, however. You can call (580-223-8290) or email (aplstaff@ardmorelibrary.org) with requests and we will do what we can. We will be able to pull items for you to checkout and pickup in the drive through (at the east end of the building), we will be able to print items for you that you send in email, we will be able to answer questions you call or email in, and more.
The library was already scheduled to be closed that Friday & Saturday, Nov. 10 & 11, for Veterans Day.
Assuming all goes according to plan, we will re-open on Monday, Nov. 13, at 9:00 with indoor access available and normal services restored.
System upgrade 8/5/23
The library circulation & catalog system will be running an upgrade on Saturday, August 5, 2023, after the library closes. We expect this to take about three hours, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. What this means for users is that during this time, you may not be able to look up items in the catalog, access your library account, or sign in to Overdrive/Libby. We apologize for any inconvenience.
